Three senior members of the 2022-23 HHSAA Division I State Champion Konawaena High School football team signed letters of intent to join college football teams. Receiver Ro’onui Satta-Ellis (left) will play at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon — a member of the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference. Runningback Kawelu Kaiawe (center) and linebacker Anthony Torres (right) will play together at George Fox University — also in the DIII Northwest Conference, nearby in Newburg, Oregon.
