Approximately 1,000 Hawaii Electric Light Co. customers are experiencing a power outage in the Pahala and Naalehu areas. HELCO lineman and technicians are investigating the cause of the problem.
As of 11 a.m. Sunday, HELCO didn’t have an estimate for what the duration of this outage will be. The company, however, said it is working to restore power as quickly as possible.
