Work by Kailua Village Artists President Kathleen Jaeger will be featured at the co-op’s Alii Sunset Plaza Gallery during November. Jaeger is proficient with a variety of media, including mosaics and acrylic painting.
Jaeger has pondered the human face in her “The Face of Paradise” pieces. She will introduce her “Masks of Paradise” during this show. “People being people” is a favorite theme of hers, both poignant and humorous, she said, as she captures special moments in time. She adds a focus on “Paradise Reflected” with her attention to faces sporting a variety of colorful shades reflecting the beauty of the world around them. Her portfolio also includes acrylic paintings of island inspired landscapes.
The public is invited to meet Jaeger and talk story Nov. 12 and 26. The gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
