The Kona Community Aquatic Center will reopen to the public at 8 a.m. Saturday.
The public pool had been slated to reopen on Wednesday following a planned inspection, however, unforeseen circumstances have resulted in the inspection taking longer than expected, according to the Department of Parks and Recreation.
The pool should reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday, according to the department.
