Fire officials are investigating the cause of a Friday evening structure fire in Hilo.
Responding to the 7:17 p.m. alarm, firefighters found a Manaolana Place two-story home with an enclosed garage about 60 percent in flames, according to the Hawaii Fire Department. Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading further into the residence.
One injury was reported, however, no further information was available. The department estimated damage at $250,000.
