Friends may call from 8 to 9:30 a.m. March 10 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou, where a Mass will be held at 10 a.m., followed by a burial at Alae Cemetery. The family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by sons, Gordon Aninion, of Hilo, Terence Aninion, of Hilo, Russell (Carol) Aninion, of Keaau; daughters, Andera Cuba, of Hilo, Christy (George) De Coito, of Hilo, Diana (Kelly) Perreira, of Hilo; brothers, George (Shirley) Pasco Sr., of Ewa Beach, Oahu, Tony (Alicia) Pasco, of Kona, Robinson (Priscilla) Reyes, of Milolii, John (Gale) Reyes, of Kona; sisters, Dolores Sarme, of Lanai City, Fely (Richard) Reyes, of Waipahu, Oahu, Clara (Douglas) Collingworth, of Florida; 18 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cecilia “Aunty Ceci” May Hiiakaikapoliopele Polikapu-Samson, 64, of Keaukaha, died Feb. 16 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker and Hospice of Hilo volunteer. She was also a member of Hilo Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and Ke Ola Pono No Na Kupuna.

Fumie Nakamichi, 100, of Hilo, died Feb. 29 at her residence. Born in Kaiwiki, she was a homemaker and retired Hilo Lanes Restaurant cook. She was also a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and Fujinkai.
