Dana Leoneza
Dana Mae Leoneza, 36, Honalo, died Feb. 12 at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 22, 1975, in Hilo, she was a food waitress at the Fish Hopper Restaurant, Outback Steakhouse and Outrigger Keauhou Beach Hotel.
Friends may call at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at Hawaiian Homes Kaniohale Association Community Center at 74-5100 Halo Lono St. in Kailua-Kona for a celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn and flowers omitted.
She is survived by her children’s father, Duane (Charli) Cunningham, of Kailua-Kona; sons, Tyger Cunningham and Colby Cunningham, both of Kailua-Kona; father, Roy Leoneza, of Hawaii; mother, Lorraine Araujo, of Kurtistown; hanai father, Earl Araujo, of Kurtistown; brother, Roy Leoneza Jr., of Kurtistown.

Becky Takeya
Becky Kalani Takeya, 69, of Hilo, died Feb. 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Opihikao, she was a retired groundskeeper with the Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation, a former warehouse worker with the former Ookala Sugar Co. and member of Opihikao Congregational Church and the ILWU Retirees Club.
Friends may call at 3 p.m. Feb. 28 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by husband, Allan Takeya, of Hilo; sons, Ricky (Cindy) Takeya, of Las Vegas, Kyle (Paula Palma) Takeya, of Hilo; daughters, Jade (Neal) Miyazaki, of Kapolei, Oahu, Jodie (Jody Whitney) Takeya, of Hilo; brothers, Robert (June) Makuakane, of Seattle, Donald (Violet) Poepoe, of Makawao, Maui; hanai parents, Michael (Dottie) Kyser, of Puna; hanai son, Alwin (Sunshine) Mae, of Utah; hanai daughter, Yuko Suzuki, of Hilo; hanai sister, Nene Kaleo, of Hilo; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and hanai children.

John Llanes Sr.
John Allen Llanes Sr., 73, of Keauhou Mauka, died Jan. 23 at his residence. Born Sept. 8, 1938, in Ookala, he was a self-employed boat captain and charter skipper and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 3 at the Hawaii Big Game Fishing Clubhouse at Honokohau Harbor for a memorial service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

Albert Regidor
Albert Racindo Regidor, 71, of Kailua-Kona, died Feb. 11 at Kona Community Hospital. Born March 1, 1940, in Paauilo, he was a retired safety training supervisor for the Honolulu Gas Co., a paper carrier for the former Honolulu Advertiser, a worker for the Hamakua Sugar Co. and Army veteran.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 3 at the Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for a 10 a.m. Mass. Family requests casual attire be worn. Lei are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Stella Regidor, of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Natalie Regidor, of Honolulu; son, Nathan Regidor, of Honolulu; sisters, Mary Lee, of Oahu, Ilima (Scott) Fujimoto, of Honokaa; brothers, Moke (Reba) Regidor and Earl (Amy) Regidor, both of Kailua-Kona; two grandchildren; numerous hanai brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins; hanai nieces and nephews.

Kenneth “Ken” James Alberts, 75, of Kailua-Kona, died Feb. 19 at his residence. Born May 1, 1936, in Remer, Minn., he was a retired carpet layer.

Evelyn “Evey” Carol Garcia, 67, of Leilani Estates, died Feb. 15 at her residence. Born Nov. 25, 1944, in Broken Bow, Neb., she was an employee of the former Kalapana Store and Drive Inn.

Audrey Jean Wescott, 74, of Waikoloa, died Feb. 19 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1938, in Eugene, Ore., she was an accountant for Mauna Lani Golf.

Theodore “Ted” Tadato Yamanaka, 60, of Hilo, died Feb. 10 at Hilo Medical Center. Born March 30, 1951, in Hilo, he was a computer and Internet service consultant who was the co-owner of the Computer Solutions business in Hilo and a partner in the Advanced Wireless Systems of Hawaii Co.
