Traffic reportedly has been restricted to one lane in the vicinity of an accident near Honaunau on Highway 11. Police and fire personnel have responded to reports of a downed utility pole and lines in the vicinity of Ege Store on Highway 11, the Hawaii Belt Road, in South Kona. There are no early reports of injuries and HELCO crews were reportedly en route, to be on the scene about an hour after the incident that was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Friday.
