Chinese medical college sets open house
The Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii invites the public to its open house on Saturday at the Waimea campus (directly across from the Thelma Parker Library in Waimea Office Center) during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Clinic and campus tours, free acupuncture demonstrations, Chinese herbal tea samples and specials on Chinese herbal pharmacy specialty items will be available.
The nonprofit organization is dedicated to offering affordable health care to Big Island residents through teaching clinics, and maintaining a four-year nationally accredited master’s program in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
