KiMOBEAN opens in Kailua-Kona area
KiMOBEAN Hawaiian Coffee has opened a new store at Alii Plaza, 75-5742 Kuakini Highway, Kailua-Kona, across from the 76 gas station. This is KiMOBEAN’s third store on the Big Island, joining its two other locations at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort. KiMOBEAN also has four locations in Waikiki at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, Wyland Waikiki Resort & Spa, Ohana East Hotel and at Saratoga Avenue. An eighth new store in Ko Olina (West Oahu) is scheduled to begin construction in the summer of 2009.
The local company has been operating gourmet coffee and espresso cafes in Hawaii since 1993. KiMOBEAN offers select premium coffees from Kona, Maui and Kauai, which are roasted in small batches and on a weekly basis to ensure the highest quality and freshness. The coffee is served by the cup or available as roasted whole bean. In addition to fresh drip brew coffee, KiMOBEAN’s menu includes a full complement of espresso drinks, coffee freezes, tea and smoothies. Its food offerings include locally baked and made pastries, fresh made deli sandwiches, wraps, salads and desserts. KiMOBEAN also offers a variety of logo items and uniquely Hawaiian products such as fruit flavored teas, chocolate covered macadamias, cookies and other local favorites.

The 20-seat interior space is complemented by a spacious outdoor patio deck that has a 30-plus seating capacity. Additional amenities include WiFi and parking in the front and rear of Alii Plaza. This location is open seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends.
