Robert Cleary
Robert Russell Cleary, 64, of Hilo, died Dec. 28 at his residence. Born in Paris, he was a veteran of the Navy.
A graveside committal service will take place at noon Feb. 2 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
He has ho known survivors.

Samantha Channels
Samantha O. Brossard Channels, 36, of Hilo, died Jan. 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Blythe, Calif., she was a homemaker, founder of gotsunblock.com, an advocacy website for skin cancer prevention and awareness, and member of Melanoma Research Foundation.
Services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by husband, James Channels, of Hilo; daughter, Embresha Channels, of Hilo; sons, Josyah Channels, Isaac Channels, Hayzen Channels, all of Hilo; father, Mark Brossard, of California; mother, Terra Mahi, of Hilo; sisters, Aimee (Beau) Addison, of Michigan, Kililani Mahi, Nicole Mahi, both of Hilo, Kaleia (Shawn) McDade, of Guam; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Randal Chong
Randal Kanoa Chong, 47, of Mountain View, died Dec. 25. He was born Dec. 9, 1964, in Honolulu.

He is survived by son, Alika; daughters, Theresa and Ekaika; wife, Thomasine; seven grandchildren; Chong/Kamana family.

George Hall
George K. Hall, 86, of Volcano, died Jan. 23 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a World War II Army veterans, retired as a journeyman trainer director for IBEW local 1186 and member of the state Board of Electricians and Plumbers.
Private services were held.
He is survived by wife, Elizabeth Hall, of Volcano; son, John (Christine) Hall, of Kahaluu; daughter, Erena (Alex) Faumuina, of Mountain View; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Felicidad Hansen
Felicidad “Phyllis,” “Pacia” Agua Hansen, 77, of Waimea, died Jan. 15 at her residence. Born March 21, 1934, in Pulehu, Maui, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by daughters, Carla (George) Chaidemenakis, of Las Vegas, Christine (Kalei) Lindsey, of Waimea; sisters, Eleanor Florendo, Shirley (Melvin) Suganuma and Rosinda Auffrey, all of Honolulu; brother, Alfred Agua, of Honolulu; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Chieko Nakashima
Chieko M. Nakashima, 88, of Hilo, died Jan. 4 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was a retired licensed practical nurse at the former Hilo Hospital and a member of Hilo Hooganji Mission, Waiakea Uka Kumiai, Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and Hilo Daijingu.
Private services were held. Family requests no flowers or monetary offerings.
She is survived by sons, Norman Nakashima, of Reno, Nev., Brian Nakashima, of Honolulu, Michael (Janis) Nakashima, of Hilo; brother, Jack Konno, of Hilo; sister, Masako Abe, of Maui; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; nieces and nephews.
