Elizabeth Rose Akau Wilkins, 76 of Kawaihae died May 25, 2017, at her home. Born April 7, 1941, in Kohala, she was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waimea 1st Ward.
Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. June 16 with service to follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waimea. Cremation will follow the service. A private urn burial will be at a later date. Casual attire.
She is survived by daughter, Deborah (Marty) Booth of Kawaihae; brothers, Edward Akau Sr. of Pearl City, Oahu and Solomon Akau of Kawaihae; sister, Wilma Nance of Galveston, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Thomas “Bull” Kahenenui Kome Kailiawa III, 53, of Pahala died May 20, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Oct. 16, 1963, in Ka‘u, he was employed by Ka‘u Sugar Plantation as a heavy equipment operator, Kapapala Ranch, T&T Electric, Akal Security, Cronies Bar &Grill, Forrest Solution, Ka‘u Coffee Mill and owner/proprietor of Kailiawa Coffee.
Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. June 17 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. service. Cremation will be at Dodo Mortuary Crematory. Casual or aloha attire. Flowers and lei are welcomed.

Rebecca Setsuko Yamashita Berry, 88, of Honolulu died May 20, 2017, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired administrative secretary for former U.S. District Judge, Samuel P. King.
A scattering of her ashes will take place at noon June 17 at the Haleiwa Boat Harbor. A celebration of her life will follow at Alii Beach Park in Haleiwa, Oahu. Casual attire.

Born in Natchez, Miss., she was a retired licensed practical nurse and ward clerk on the pediatric unit at the Hilo Medical Center, Queen of Na Papale Ula Wela O Hilo Red Hat Society, member of Hui Haukapila, Lei Hulu of Hilo, Hilo Medical Center Retirees, former chairperson for the American Heart Association Relay for Life and an Army veteran.
