Jacob Hanohano
Jacob Lono Hanohano, 63, of Keaau died Nov. 17, 2016, at home. Born in Hilo, HI and was a retired journeyman electrician/heavy equipment operator with Aina Hana, Inc. He was also an Army veteran, retired from the Hawaii Army National Guard, a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Keaau, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers No. 1186, and the National Electrical Benefit Fund.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 18 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may also call from 9-11 a.m. Dec. 19 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. prayer service, followed by burial at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. The family requests casual attire and no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Johnalyn Hanohano of Keaau; sons, Chad Hanohano of Boston, Ryan (Kristine) Hanohano of Newark, Calif., Shane (Sherri) Hanohano of Papaikou, Sean Hanohano, Adam (Roxanne) Hanohano, all of Keaau, Jacob (Kathleen) Hanohano Jr. of Alaska; brothers, Burton (Kathy) Hanohano of Pahoa, Thomas (Rachelle) Hanohano of Hilo, Samuel Perreira of Kwajalein; sisters, Isabel (Wendell) Vincent, Darlene (Samuel) Hanohano-Hoopai, all of Hilo, Iris Roelse of California, Agnes Fesolai of Utah; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ralph Saito
Ralph Soichiro Saito, 79, of Ahualoa died Dec. 6, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 13, 1936, in Haina, he was a retired wildlife biologist for the state Department of Land and Natural Resources and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Mission.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Dec. 18 at Kamuela Hongwanji Mission for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Jean Saito of Ahualoa; sons, Patrick Saito of Waikoloa, Scott Saito of Ahualoa; brother, Roy (Eunice) Saito of Waimea; sister, Norene Yamamoto of Honokaa; a grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.

Clarence Esposo
Clarence Melchor Esposo, 75, of Hilo died Dec. 2, 2016, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Kohala, he was a retired mortgage broker and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
Friends may call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Dec. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass, followed by cremation. The family requests that casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Jane Esposo of Hilo; sons, Ian Esposo of Las Vegas, Jason Esposo of Texas; daughters, Lauren Esposo of Honolulu, Cayla Esposo of Hilo; mother, Filomena Magno of Hilo; sister, Marilyn (John) Saplan of Hilo; one granddaughter; an aunt, nieces and nephews.

Wesley Kailimai
Wesley Keola Kailimai, 77, of Hilo died Dec. 9, 2016, in the Hilo Medical Center. Born April 8, 1939, in Hilo, he was a Navy veteran, belonged to the Operating Engineers Local No. 3 and worked for various construction companies.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Dec. 20 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo with a 10:30 a.m. celebration of life. Aloha attire is requested.
He is survived by wife, Pearl Kailimai of Hilo; sons, Wesley Kailimai of Hilo, Lance Kailimai of Oahu; brother, Jay Kailimai of Hilo; sisters, Gail Kaapuni of Honomu and Maydel Matsubara of Hilo; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Lolita Eugenio
Lolita Palma Eugenio, 71, of Kurtistown died Nov. 24, 2016, at The Pohai Malama Hospice Facility in Hilo. Born July 24, 1945, in Santiago, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a papaya packer for the Tropical Hawaiian Products in Keaau and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 20 at Dodo Mortuary chapel with a 7 p.m. wake service. Visitation will continue from 8-10 a.m. Dec. 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo with a 10 a.m. Mass. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed. Burial will be at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section.
She is survived by hanai daughters, Rosemarie (Kenneth Rosete) Eugenio of Hilo, Rosalie (Reynold) de Aquino of Waianae, Oahu; hanai son, Ellsworth (April Kosora) Eugenio of Hawaiian Paradise Park; brothers, Melicio Eugenio of Pepeekeo, Romeo Eugenio of Waianae, Oahu and Rogelio (Susan) Eugenio of Ewa Beach, Oahu; sister, Yolanda Eugenio of Ewa Beach, Oahu; seven hanai grandchildren.
