Residents and visitors can learn how to grow shiitake mushrooms at a special workshop at Kokolulu Farm in Hawi from 1:30-5 p.m. on Nov. 9.
The demonstrate will show how mushrooms can grow on logs, and will include take home materials and a starter kit infused with a new strain. The fee is $57 per person.
