Friends of Anuenue Playground is hosting a friend-and-fund-raiser on Oct. 1 to help rescue and rebuild the popular playground at Waimea Park.
From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., ono lunch and snack offerings will be served, in addition to live music, keiki-friendly entertainment and drawings for prizes. Children can also participate in an Anuenue art project that will be installed at the playground once the rebuild is complete.
