In retrospect, having a New Year’s fitness resolution sounded like a great idea.
Pencil in a few workouts, set the alarm clock for an hour earlier to hit the gym before work, chuck the sugary carbs for some fresh fruits and veggies, with fingers crossed that the plan sticks.
And now it’s summer. What started off as a highly motivated fitness plan at the beginning of the year has sadly dissolved into what we know as, “the dreaded fitness plateau.”
Who can blame you? Everyday life has a knack of getting in the way, not to mention the agonizing heat wave that has hit Hawaii hard, with hot and muggy days and nights leaving many of us feeling unmotivated, lethargic, and ready for that never ending nap.
But now, if ever, is not the time to start slacking. With many fun upcoming events, now is the perfect time to resuscitate your fitness regimen with some new goals to help get you back on track.
