Innovations Public Charter School presents “The Lion King Jr.” May 6 through 8 at Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.
The Kailua-Kona school’s students will share the experiences of one lion cub as his trials and tribulations introduce him to a colorful cast of friends and enemies, ultimately bringing him back to his rightful place on the throne.
Show times are 7 p.m. May 6 and 7, and 2 p.m. May 8. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those younger than age 18.
