Waimea Community Theatre’s production of “Taming of the Shrew” moves to Honokaa this weekend.
Offering a new take on one of the most popular plays by William Shakespeare, the performance is set in the era of the Wild West in the 1890s. Final performances are 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Honokaa People’s Theatre.
Tickets are $15 for adults; $13 for seniors and $7.50 for students. Purchase tickets at Waimea General Store, Without Boundaries and Waikoloa Mailbox. To purchase tickets in the Kona area, call 938-4603.
