The West Hawaii County Band presents “Love Songs” at this evening at 6:30 p.m. in Kailua Village.
The 20-piece brass band comprised of community members will present the concert of sentimental favorites at Hale Halawai. The monthly concert will feature music of the The Beatles, as well as “Hawaiian Wedding Song,” a traditional favorite, along with “As Time Goes By” and others, including “The Liberty Bell,” a march by John Philip Sousa.
The concert will last approximately 75 minutes. The band is conducted by Lisa Archuletta and rehearses weekly and performs monthly concerts at Hale Halawai.
