Suspected ISIS terrorists slip across southern border while Biden fixates on Trump
While Joe Biden and the media are fixated on putting “convicted felon” Donald Trump behind bars, eight suspected ISIS terrorists slipped across the southern border illegally behind Biden’s back.
The Democratic president’s immigration ineptitude – which until now has involved thousands of migrants daily swarming across the border – is now causing a national security threat.
It could be the greatest threat to national security is not China or Russia but our own southern border thanks to Biden’s failed border non-policies.
The mainstream media and Democrats are mostly downplaying the threat but with terrorist threat levels up, the possibility of an ISIS attack looms before the November election.
The eight men from central Asia associated with ISIS actually successfully made it across the southern border – one using a government app to declare asylum – but were just arrested in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, officials confirmed.
The New York Post broke the story and it’s been confirmed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and federal intelligence officials.
The men were rounded up as part of an FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force investigation of a potential terror threat. The FBI had been reportedly monitoring the activities of the suspected terrorist group for several months.
“Over the last few days, ICE agents arrested several non-citizens pursuant to immigration authorities,” the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI said in a joint statement. “The actions were carried out in close coordination with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces. The individuals arrested are detained in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.”
Just days before the arrests, FBI Director Christopher Wray warned Congress about the terrorism threat from the open southern border, Fox News reported.
“So certainly, we have seen over the last five to six years an increase in the number of known or suspected terrorists…attempting to cross the border,” Wray said. “And that is of concern.”
The arrest of the suspected ISIS members has ricocheted across the nation’s capital and into the presidential election.
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham is requesting a full classified briefing for lawmakers on the arrests.
“I have never been more worried than I am right now about an attack on our homeland due to the combination of the Biden administration’s shameful withdrawal from Afghanistan and broken border policies,” Graham said. “This is a lethal cocktail for America.”
A terror attack this year would fall squarely on Biden’s shoulders and could change the outcome of the election.
This is finally dawning on Democrats who up until now have been more worried about Trump’s ridiculous conviction and trying to gain political mileage out of it.
