Body found under bridge in Umauma identified

Hawaii Island police have identified a body found Friday under Nanue Bridge in Umauma as 54-year-old Patrick Dacayanan of Hilo.

An autopsy conducted Tuesday on Decayanan’s body determined that he died from injuries consistent with a fall from a height.

Detectives have ruled out foul play, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
