Jose Duldulao
Jose Jesus Agunoy Duldulao, 73, of Pahoa, died Nov. 21, 2022. Born on May 3, 1949, in Laoag City, Philippines, he worked for a plants and flowers nursery and he also was a member of the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa. Friends may call on Dec. 30 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. Burial at Alae Cemetery (New Section). He is survived by wife, Edita N. Duldulao of Pahoa; children, Margie (Antonio Marcelo) Duldulao, Estela (Joel Rarangol) Duldulao, Saniata (Johnson Tolentino) Duldulao and Judith Duldulao of Pahoa; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Milton Yafuso
Milton Hideo Yafuso, 74, of Hilo died on Nov. 27, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was the retired office manager for the former Yafuso T.V. Appliance, member of Hui Okinawa, Hui Okinawa Kobudo Taiko, Exchange club of Hilo and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Private services held. He is survived by wife, Margaret Yafuso of Hilo; daughters, Christine (Mark) Yamamoto of Hilo, Marlene (Benjamin) Bultman of Tucson, Arizona; brothers, Clyde Yafuso of Hilo, Glenn (Joycelyn) Yafuso of Hilo; two grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Marie B. Abril, 86 of Holualoa, died Sept. 15, 2022 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, on March 21, 1936, she was an avid traveler and worked at Kona Hongwanji Preschool and Bay View Farms; was a member of St Benedict’s Painted Church and the Ilocano Ancestry Club. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 7, 2023, at St. Benedict’s Painted Church in Honaunau; funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. She is survived by her sons, Walter Amarino Jr., and Robin (Mryna) Amarino, all of Holualoa; daughter, Terrie (Lloyd) Tanaka of Kealakekua; hanai daughter, Joanie (Brian) Dalton of San Diego, CA.; brothers, Alfonso Abril of Honolulu and John (Judy) Abril of Middle Keei; sisters, Marcy Akao of Hilo, Victoria (Tom) Yanagawa of Kailua-Kona, Dora Starr of Hernando, FL., Mary Bentley of Las Vegas, Monica (Richard) Layman of Honolulu, Candida Abril and Pauline (Steve) Butters, all of Kailua-Kona; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
