The Kona 4-H Federation has announced the recipients of the 2015 Sarah Rosenberg “Make a Difference” 4-H Scholarship.
The scholarship was created in memory of Sarah Rosenberg, who excelled in all areas of the 4-H Youth Development Program that included project work, leadership and community service. Like the 4-H motto, “To Make the Best Better,” Rosenberg strived to “Make a Difference” in someone else’s life and change it for the better.
In honor of Rosenberg’s dream and commitment to the 4-H Youth Development Program, scholarships were awarded to Kona 4-H Federation high school seniors who best exemplified her giving spirit as well as academic achievement, community service and the 4-H philosophy. The award recipients are Kililani Kunitomo, Konawaena High School, $2,000; Nikki Kunitomo, Konawaena High School, $2,000; and Tianna Morimoto, Konawaena High School, $2,000.
