Ayako You
Ayako Yamashiro You, 102, of Hilo died Nov. 23, 2021, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Hakalau, she was a retired business instructor at Hawaii Community College and business teacher at Hilo High School.
Private services. Family requests no flowers and no koden (monetary gifts).
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

George Kaitoku
George Mitsuo Kaitoku, 71, of Hilo, died Nov. 15, 2021 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala, he was a retired County of Hawaii Department of Public Works Engineering Division supervising project construction inspector, retired Hawaii Army National Guard Sergeant First Class, surveyor for Hilo Engineering, former HIPAL Youth Baseball coach/business manager, deacon, Board of Trustees and member of Haili Church and member of Big Island National Guard Retirees Association.
Private services held.
He is survived by wife, Joyce Hinokawa Kaitoku of Hilo; sons, Duane (Raquel) Kaitoku of Kawaihae and Dwight Kaitoku of Hilo; daughter, Leasha (Les) Kaitoku-Oguma of Hilo; sisters, Elsie Higa and June Ono of Hilo; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donna Duquette
Donna Duquette, 52, of Mountain View, died Nov. 8, 2021. She was born in San Diego.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 14 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a public visitation. A private family service to follow. Burial at 1:30 p.m. at Alae Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by sons, Kristian Boreliz and John Cardoza; daughters, Candice Boreliz and Maria Duquette; father, James Duquette; brothers, Richard Clemmer and Jason Mederios; sisters, Charity Kahikina and Aurelia Huff; and 11 grandchildren.
