Naomi Alcosiba
Naomi K. Alcosiba, 88, of Hilo died Oct. 30, 2021, at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was a retired bar manager at Uncle Billy’s Hilo Bay Hotel and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. Dec. 9 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for 9 a.m. Mass. She is survived by son, Tony Alcosiba of Honolulu; hanai sons, Kenneth Alcosiba of California, Patpong Chittkusol of Bangkok, Thailand, and Lawrence Nakano of Honolulu; daughters, Gale (James) Camacho of Keaau, and Alissa (Keith) Kashiwada of Pu’uloa; hanai daughter, Lydia Martins of Hilo, and Tanya Dudoit of Oahu; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kevin LeBourdais
Kevin Charles LeBourdais, 60, of Volcano died Nov. 20, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Livonia, Michigan, he was a draftsman and owner of Island Drafting and Special Inspections, and member and president of the Rotary Club of Volcano.

He is survived by wife, Debora LeBourdais of Volcano; children, Michael (Heather) Simpson and Cassandra Simpson, all of Oregon, and Tina Hills of Arizona; mother, Diane LeBourdais of Arizona; siblings, Kerry (Alfred) Masini of Florida, and Kyle (Barbara) LeBourdais of Arizona; and four grandchildren.

Alice Kewaha Harbottle, 82, of Hilo and formerly of Waimanalo, Oahu, died Nov. 18, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a food service worker, hostess, bartender and waitress at Sea Life Park and Olomana Golf Course.

Michael “Mike” William Fishel, 72, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 28, 2021, at his residence. Born Dec. 5, 1948 in Honolulu, he was the shop manager for Dixson 76.
