Kun Sigrah
Kun Sapino Sigrah, 45, of Waikoloa, died May 16, 2021, at his residence. Born Oct. 1, 1975, in Kosrae Island, Micronesia, he was an engineer at the Four Seasons Resort, an Iraq war combat veteran, retired as a sergeant in the Army National Guard, fisherman and member of the Kosrae Congregational Church.
Services were held at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Leilani Sigrah of Waikoloa; sons, J.R. (Janice) Sigrah of Missouri and Bojay (Alleri) Sigrah of Waikoloa; daughters, Alice (Benson) Aloka, Kaiolani (B.J.) Esau, Noelani Sigrah, all of Waikoloa; mother, Isako Sigrah of Kosrae; brothers, Johnny (Susin) Sigrah and Jack (Srue) Sigrah and Raymond (Lillian) Sigrah, all of Kosrae, Robert (Wanda) Sigrah, Bob (Batsipa) Sigrah, John (Wanda) Sigrah, and Fred Sigrah, all of Waikoloa; sisters, Edwina (Wright) Abraham and Lurlyn (Bensyley) Jerry, all of Kosrae; 11 grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary Havlicek
Mary Jane Dykstra Havlicek, 79, of Pahoa, died May 28, 2021, at her residence. Born in Michigan in 1941, was the president and founder of Central Coast Analytical Services (CCAS), a senior research Chemist for Air Liquide Electronics, taught chemistry at several colleges across the U.S., authored over 30 professional publications, and held four U.S. patents.
Friends may call at 11 a.m. June 26 at Kalapana Mauna Kea First Hawaiian Congregational Church in Pahoa for a service. The family asks that attendees wear brightly colored clothing; and donations be made to the Hawaii County Meals on Wheels Program in lieu of flowers.
She is survived by husband, Stephen Charles Havlicek of Pahoa; daughters, Lani Havlicek (Illya Quandt) of Reno, Nevada, and Malia Havlicek (Gordan Gjerapic) of Highlands Ranch, CO; son, John Stephen Havlicek (Maricar Souza) of Pahoa; and five grandsons.
