The ohana of Keller Williams Realty Maui — Big Island collected a ton of nonperishable food items for The Food Basket during its annual Red Day on May 13.
Since May 2009, the entire company of Keller Williams Realty, which operates in the U.S., Canada and abroad, has set aside the second Thursday of the month to renew, energize, and donate within the communities they serve.
The local office’s 27 volunteers collected donations for The Food Basket at KTA Super Stores and ChoiceMart around the island that day.
“We collected over 2,000 pounds of food to help feed hungry ohanas from 7 different stores around the island,” the office said.
