REALLY, the County is dong work on everyone else’s roads while the Puna residents don’t even have roads???
These are State projects on State-owned roads only (as listed on the HIDOT website: “hidot hawaii gov/highways/roadwork/hawaii/”). Since there aren’t many state-owned roads in Puna–just Highways 11 and 130–you’ll never see a large set of Puna projects on these lists. County projects on county-owned roads, some of which occur in Puna, are not listed here (private roads, of which there are many in Puna, are, of course, the responsibility of their respective owners).
