Hawaii Island police are investigating a forgery last month in Hilo.
Police need help identifying the man pictured who is suspected of using counterfeit money at a fast-food restaurant in downtown Hilo on the morning of Aug. 18.
Anyone with any information about his identity should call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Jenny Lee at 961-2213. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
