Kimie Tanihiro
Kimie “Lillian” Tanihiro, 90, of Hilo, died March 4, 2018, at home. Born in Kahei, Kohala, she was retired from the former Yamamoto Credit Jewelers, attended Hawaii Island Adult Care and was a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and Hiroshima Kenjin Kai.
Friends may call at 3 p.m. April 14 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 4 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by son, Patrick (Doreen) Tanihiro of Hilo; daughters, Lorna (Francisco Ramos) Hanamoto and Jo Ann (Robert S. Lee, Jr.) Abe of Hilo; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Shigeko Higashi, 95, of Hilo, died March 13, 2018, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Naalehu, she was a homemaker and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.

She is survived by son, Howard (Donna Dodd) Higashi of Hilo; daughters, Corinne Tsue and Lorna (Jeff) Higashi-Tsue of Hilo; sisters, Florence Nagata of Gardena, Calif., Suyeko Leu of Kaneohe, Oahu; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda Lucille Fabia, 81, of Hilo died April 1, 2018, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Caruthersville, Mo., she was a retired electronics technician.
