Book sale at Kailua-Kona Library set for April 21
The Friends of the Libraries, Kona (FOLK) will hold its next book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 21 on the lanai of the Kailua-Kona library.
Proceeds from book sales help support the needs of the Kona libraries. Teachers will receive special discounts with their official school ID, and F.O.L.K. members receive a 20 percent discount. As always, volunteers are welcome, particularly for the afternoon of the book sale.

Kona Book Club meeting April 17
The Friends of the Libraries, Kona Book Club will meet at 11 a.m. April 17 to discuss this month’s selection, “Before the Fall” by Noah Hawley, an Agatha Christie style closed-room mystery set on an airplane with a plane crash and only two survivors. The May selection will be “The Bonesetter’s Daughter” by Amy Tan.
