Kealakehe High School will host its annual open house from 5:15 to 7 p.m. Sept. 4. Parents are invited to come to the library early as school and parent information will be available, as well as help with any questions.
The event will begin in the student’s citizenship/advisory class at 5:15 p.m. This class is shown as period eight on the student’s schedule. Parents are to follow the student’s schedule, spending 10 minutes in each class with 5 minutes for passing. This time with teachers is not for conferencing and appointments can be made if parents wish. Parents should come with their student’s schedule. Help will be available in the library if a parent does not have their student’s schedule.
This event is planned for students, their families and the Kona community to visit the school, see the campus, meet teachers and find out more about the educational programs offered at Kealakehe. For more information, call Linda Jeffrey at 313-3652 or Connie Simon at 313-3724.
