HMSA problems, or government?
On Feb. 2, Tom and Christine Russi wrote in their letter to the editor, “As a medicare beneficiary, my quality of care has been compromised by HMSA and CMS/SFO for over five years for one reason: to protect medical providers.”
This makes me wonder: what do you think a medical provider is? You also said, “I call on the Congress to empower every cabinet secretary with the authority to reward good workers and remove the federal employers who undermine the public trust or fail the American people.”
Your Social Security and medicare are about to be assaulted by the party that voted to increase the national deficit by $1 trillion to $2 trillion to the financial benefit of the Trump family and the wealthiest 1 percent and they’re pushing a spending bill that will greatly increase the debt further still.
Remember, Trump said he’d give great health care for everyone and at much reduced cost. He also promised not to undermine Social Security and Medicare. House Speaker Paul Ryan has been advocating a voucher system so you could go out and buy your own medical plan ever since he was elected. Maybe you should write to Rep. Ryan and express your concerns about undermining the public trust and the need to improve your medicare so that you won’t have to buy a supplemental plan because of insufficient coverage and high co-pays.
Oh, don’t forget to write him about the short comings of your Social Security COLA while the Wall Street money managers get to take advantage of tax loopholes to pay lower taxes that Trump promised he’d close. Keep your eyes on the much anticipated, much lower prescription drug prices he promised when he appointed his new cabinet secretary.
