Hello 2018! Are we really ready for this? I think a fresh start is a real blessing, howze about you? So, what was your favorite Christmas card from family and friends? Mine? “I wish a bright star would appear in the East over Washington, D.C.! We could use a few wise men up there!”
The day before yesterday I was standing by a snow cone wagon. It said, “Having fallen on hard times, Frosty is forced to sell his body on the streets!”
One more ex-Christmas laugh? She made herself a snowball as perfect as could be. She thought she would keep it as a pet and let it sleep with her. She made it some pajamas and a pillow for its head. Then last night it ran away. But first it wet the bed! … Yep, that gives pathetic new meaning!
This one is from my friends at Big Island Brewhaus: Be the reason someone smiles, or the reason they drink … whatever works!
One more shorty? To err is human! To admit it, now that’s a mistake! … And my son’s most favorite: “Some people won’t admit their faults. I would if I had any!”
Now I ask you all, wouldn’t it be great if we could put ourselves in the clothes dryer for 10 minutes and come out wrinkle-free, back to our original shape, three sizes smaller and smelling outdoor fresh?!
An older man was working out at the gym when he spotted a sweet, very cute lady walking in. He turned to his trainer and said, “What machine should I use to impress that young lady over there?” The trainer smiled and said, “I would recommend the ATM in the lobby!”
I know you all know about being careful what you say in certain places to certain people … A cute young woman was giving a manicure to a man in the barber shop. The man said, “How about a date later?” She said, “I’m married!” “So,” he replied, “call up your husband and tell him you’re going to visit a girlfriend!” She responded, “You tell him yourself, he’s shaving you!”
So, my friends, today is a holiday so I am out having fun and hope you are also! Football, football and more football! And between games you are supposed to be writing your New Year resolutions. Here is mine for this next year, and I gladly share it with you all: “Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile!”
Aloha, a hui hou.
