Zackery “Zack” Thomas Keoke McGuire, 23, of Wailuku, Maui, died Aug. 11, 2013. Born Sept. 16, 1989 in Hilo, he was a driver for Maui Disposal and a pyrotechnician for Hawaii Explosives and Pyrotechnics and member of Hawaii Fitness System.

He is survived by partner, Brittney Akahi-Kahahane of Maui; daughter, Kawailehua Akahi-McGuire of Maui; mother, Brashalle Figueroa Cahill of Papaikou; father, Erik Cahill of Oregon; brothers, Bryce McGuire of Maui and Joshua (Michelle) Figueroa of Hilo; sisters, Jessica (Gary) Muragin of Hilo, Ijeva (Angel) Martinez of Mountain View and Tammie Evangelista McGuire of Maui; grandmother, Carol Lee-Anguay of Papaikou; uncle, Robert Lee III of Keaau; eight nieces; three nephews; numerous cousins.

Mauricia Saria Niverba, 88, of Keaau died Aug. 10, 2013, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Cavite, Imus, Philippines, she was a retired factory worker at Tropical Hawaiian Products and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. Aug. 23 at the church in Pahoa for a 7 p.m. service. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Aug. 24 at Alae Cemetery. The family requests casual attire be worn.
