Central Pacific Bank officials warned customers Monday about reported phishing attempts to obtain debit card information from bank customers through text and automated voice messages. The phishing scam is not specific to Central Pacific Bank, but the bank is advising all customers not to open any suspicious messages.
If any Central Pacific Bank customers receive a suspicious message, they are asked to delete the message immediately and not respond to it. If any customers have already responded to a phishing attempt, or have any questions or concerns, they should contact the customer service center at 544-0500.
