c Hawaii earns WNIT bid: The University of Hawaii women’s basketball team earned its seventh invitation in school history to the Women’s National Invitational Tournament after posting a 17-13 overall record and 13-5 mark in the Big West Conference. Hawaii will travel to southern California to battle San Diego (21-9, 12-4 WCC) on Thursday at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
It is the first time in 10 years that the Rainbow Wahine have advanced to the postseason.
