PHOTOS: New scoreboard excites Little League community

William Charles Lunalilo Park, also known as Pualani Park, recently finished its new, state-of-the-art scoreboard at its Little League Field. The project was made possible by donations from West Side Hawaii Little League (WSHLL) and the league’s supporters, Railing Systems Hawaii, Advanced Powder Coating and Signs by Jackie. The Kona-side Little League community is ecstatic about the new addition ahead of the new All-Star season, with WSHLL releasing a statement on its social media: “A heartfelt shoutout goes out to all of our generous donors for making it possible to add this essential feature to out baseball field. We also extend our gratitude to the county council for supporting is in bringing this vision to life.” All-Star practices begin May 19. (Conor Langs/West Hawaii Today)
