Hapuna Beach State Park will open one hour later than usual on Wednesday so police can conduct an investigation.
The state park is expected to open at 8 a.m., instead of the regular 7 a.m.
Vehicles and beachgoers are asked to not enter the park until the police investigation is complete.
The Hawaii Police Department appreciates the public’s patience and will work to resolve this matter as quickly and efficiently as possible.
