The Waiakea High School Athletic Department is currently looking for:

1. Head football coach

2. Head girls soccer coach

(Both responsible for JV &VARSITY Program)

The head coach will be responsible for all aspects of the sport program applying for. Some duties include: teaching/coaching of correct, proper and safe techniques, administrative duties such as planned practice schedules, staffing and monitoring of grades, attendance and character development. Also helping to maintain and to help prepare and take care of the field for practices, game set up, equipment and uniform maintenance. The ideal candidate will help foster school spirit, social and emotional strength in student athletes. Also, provide duties asked of by the principal and athletic director.

Minimum requirements: High school education, previous coaching experience, high school level or higher preferred, NFHS fundamentals of coaching certified, conducts self in an ethical and professional manner, is of high character, handles administrative responsibilities appropriately and effectively, able to communicate effectively with all role groups and work well with people. Will be held accountable for what is expected of this job and give 100% to the effort in this opportunity.
