Isabella Alcordo Dela Cruz (Indai), 91, of Kailua-Kona, died on Jan. 28 at Kona Community Hospital in Kealakekua. Born in Kohala, she was a homemaker and member of Kona Faith Center in Captain Cook. Celebration of Life at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at Kona Faith Center at 81-6224 Mamalahoa Hwy, Captain Cook. She is survived by daughters, Sharon Dela Cruz, of Kailua-Kona, Cheryl Dela Cruz, of Las Vegas, Nev.; son, Wayne Dela Cruz, of Hilo; sisters, Patricia Lani Segovia and Anne Gregas; brothers, Nario Lebron, John Balucan and Dennis Balucan; 8 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lydia Leimomi Wakita, 81, of Hilo died Jan. 17 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was an educational assistant at Keaukaha Elementary School, involved with the primary school adjustment and reading mastery group programs. Raymond “Lana” Kaulana Na Pua O Hawai‘i Rowe Jr., 65, of Keaukaha died Jan. 16 at home. Born in Keaukaha, he was a retired Hawaii Fire Department battalion chief, spent most of his career in Search and Rescue at Waiakea station, was among the first to be awarded by the Sayre Foundation, was an athlete, Junior Olympian volleyball player and devoted father and grandfather.
