The Vulcans shot 15 of 37 (.405) from beyond the arc, led by four 3-pointers from Jake Kosakowski (12 points) and a pair each from Julian Roberts (14 points), Andre Norris (12 points) and Isaiah Hinds (six points).
UH-Hilo had a distinct size advantage over its Division-III foe as Nadjrick Peat collected his 10th-career double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. The Vulcans outrebounded the Griffins, 51-30.
Six players finished with double-digit scoring figures led by 15 points from Julio Montes II.
UH-Hilo moved to 7-4 overall (1-1 PacWest) while Fontbonne moved to a 3-7 record (2-1 SLIAC).
