Sandra Atiz Cullio, 79, of Volcano, died Oct. 12. Born in Hilo, she was a member of New Hope Christian Fellowship Volcano, Daughters of God Ministry and a retired Long’s Drugs employee. Celebration of life to be held at New Hope Christian Fellowship Volcano at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2. No flowers; lunch to follow. Survived by husband Hermingeldo “Hermin” Cullio, Jr.; daughters Jennifer Cross and Laurie (Noren) Micua; stepdaughter Adrienne (Neil) Quicho; sons Chester (Claudine) Cross and Joel Cross; stepson Michael (Darice) Cullio; brothers Patrick Atiz, Sr., Reginald Atiz, St., and Roy Atiz; sisters Rita (Rick) Tellis, Cyndi (Edgar) Dsamparado, Donna (Gerard) Silva and Abby (Juan) Pascua; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. David Ronald Williams

David Ronald Williams, 71, of Naalehu, died Oct. 3 at home. He was an Air Force veteran, Senior Warden of the Kona Mason Lodge, and owner of Dave’s Equipment. Masonic services to be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Kauahaao Congregational Church UCC in Waiohino, with celebration of life to follow at 11 a.m. Survived by wife Mary of Naalehu; sisters Carolyn Pitlik, JoAnn Patterson, Marilyn Graff, Barbara Cross and Donna Carrino, who all live on the mainland.

Kori Ann Michie Nakatsu Medeiros

Kori Ann Michie Nakatsu Medeiros, 55, of Hilo, died Oct. 5 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a retired office assistant at Waiakea High School. Visitation to be held from 12:30 – 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, with celebration of life to follow at 2 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by husband Robert Medeiros of Hilo; sons Korin (Jyen Akima) Medeiros and Kodi (Kaydee) Medeiros, both of Hilo; father Milton Nakatsu of Hilo; sister Kristi (Bill) Raniada of Las Vegas; brother-in-law Russell Medeiros of Hawaiian Ocean View Estates; two grandchildren, two nephews and a niece. Randolph “Ran” Galt

Randolph Ran Galt, 94, of Waimea, died on Oct. 9 at home at Waikii Ranch. Born in Honolulu, he was a Yale graduate, a cattle rancher, and enjoyed traveling and missionary work. Services to be held at Oahu Cemetery in Honolulu. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Youth With a Mission, Kona Mercy Ships, Bethel Church Redding or Deeper Still Hawaii. Burt Kay Weiss

Burt Kay Weiss, 64, of Kahalu’u, Kona, died Sept. 25 in Kona. Born in East Berlin, Germany, he was the sole owner of Weiss Properties, a member of Hawaii Island Realtors and served as their president in 2008, a professional rugby player, avid hiker, and fisherman. Celebration of life service from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10 at the Honokohau Yacht Club, located at 74-380 Kealakehe Parkway, Kailua-Kona. Tyrone R. Revilla

Tyrone R. Revilla, 81, of Honomu died Sept. 28 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired heavy equipment/diesel mechanic for the County of Hawaii and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Reuben Rubio, Sr.

Reuben Rubio, Sr., 89, of Honaunau died Oct. 13 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Pahala, he was a crane operator for Corp. Construction and supervisor of the Kona Coast Macadamia Nut &Candy Company in Honaunau. Private service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Herbert “Sonny” Edward De Lima

Herbert “Sonny” Edward De Lima, 82, of Hilo, died Sept. 20 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a custodian for the State Department of Education at Keaukaha Elementary, Chiefess Kapiolani and Ha’aheo Schools, a former certified welder for the Hilo Coast Processing Company and the Boilermaker Blacksmith Company, a U.S. Navy veteran and member of Arise Church and the N.R.A. Visitation from 8-10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; service at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 pavilion. Casual attire. John “Juice” Clayton Moniz

John “Juice” Clayton Moniz, 81, of Keaau, died Sept. 23 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Olaa, he was the owner of Ohana Rain Gutters and former rain gutter installer for Big Island Rain Gutters, a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Onomea Rangers softball team.
