Police seek leads on wanted man

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 31-year-old Papaikou man they say should be considered armed and dangerous.

Jordan Kekolonahekuahiwielawemaikealohaa J. Botelho is wanted for burglary and on a warrant of arrest for violation of a court order.

He’s described as 5-foot 7-inches tall, 160 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.

Botelho was last seen Saturday morning in Papaikou. He’s known to frequent the Papaikou and Pepeekeo areas.

Police caution members of the public not to approach Botelho and to immediately contact police if they encounter him.

Anyone with information on Botelho’s whereabouts is asked to contact the police nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311.

Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
