Maria Jainar Alonzo, 85, of Keaau, died July 17 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Pangasinan, Philippines, she was a retired papaya packer and member of the Keaau Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Keaau. Visitiation 5-6 p.m. today (Aug. 9) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo, with wake service at 6 p.m. All-night vigil to follow at the family residence at 9 1/2 Mile Camp in Keaau. Second visitation to be held 9-10 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 10) at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Mass at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
