Kona man wanted for questioning

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 52-year-old David Scheper of South Kona.

Scheper is wanted for two outstanding bench warrants and also for questioning in several other criminal investigations, police said.

Scheper is described as being 5-foot 5-inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Scheper was last seen in the Kona district and is known to frequent Kona and Hilo.

Police noted that harboring or concealing a wanted person could result in criminal charges being filed against the person who aids the person being sought.
