Police seek ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to find a 32-year-old man they describe as “armed and dangerous.”

Keanu Olival, who has no permanent address, is a suspect in a stolen firearm investigation and also is a suspect in an unrelated stolen vehicle investigation. He’s also wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants.

Olival is is described as local, 5-feet-7-inches tall, 170 pounds, with bushy black hair and a receding hairline, full beard and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos, including a full sleeve on his left arm, a right-hand tattoo, and a tattoo on the shin of his right leg.

Anyone with information on Olival’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.

The Hawaii Police Department is reminding the public that harboring or concealing a wanted person can result in criminal charges against the person who harbors or conceals the wanted person.
