Francis Herbert “Rico” Rodillas, 74, of Hilo died July 3 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Hawaii County Police Department captain, former Securitas Security supervisor at Hilo International Airport, owned a lawn maintenance and yard service company, St. Joseph High School graduate who attended St. Martins College in Lacey, Washington, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Antique Hawaiian Bottle Club and board member of Hawaii Classic Cruizers. Visitation 8-9 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Eulogy at 9 a.m. Mass at 9:30 a.m. Urn Committal to follow at Homelani Memorial Park Columbarium Nature Garden.
