Raised crosswalks to be installed near Kohala schools
Three raised crosswalks will be installed next week in front of Kohala Elementary, Kohala Middle and Kohala High schools.
The work by will be done from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday on Kynnersley Road, Honomakau Road and Akoni Pule Highway, weather permitting.
During this time, one-lane closures will be in effect. Flaggers will be directing the traffic flow at all work areas.
The Department of Public Works’ Highway Division will be doing the work.
