Michael Beazley Kealohilani Mossman

Michael Beazley Kealohilani Mossman, 78, of Waimea died March 30 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was the retired chief engineer Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa, worked at the former Sheraton Waikoloa Beach Resort, former Kona Surf Resort and the Moana Surfrider Hotel and was Kaimuki High School alum and U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday (June 1) at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 539 Kapahulu Ave. in Honolulu. High Mass 9:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m. Light refreshments and “talk story” to follow in Parish Hall. Aloha Attire. No wreaths; lei and floral arrangements welcome. Services in Waimea at a later date. Survived by wife, Edwina Mossman (Hoke); daughter, Lena Mossman; son, Guy-Michael Mossman; siblings, William (Emmaline) Mossman, Dr. Nanette (Wayne) Judd and Violet Mossman; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild; two hanai grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews. Veronica Cacho Gazmen

Veronica Cacho Gazmen, 94, of Hilo died May 9 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was retired from Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut factory, worked at the former Hilo Hattie garment factory and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation 8-9:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Eulogy at 9:15 a.m. Mass at 9:30 a.m. Casual attire. Committal and burial services noon at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Pavilion. Survived by children, Kathy (Charles) Cabus and Elizabeth (Quentin) Quinn of Hawaii; sister, Salvacion Cacho; a granddaughter; nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Cade Kenneth Kuamoo

Cade Kenneth Kuamoo, 51, of Hilo died May 11 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a laborer for the county Department of Public Works Road Maintenance Division and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Keaukaha Ward. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday (June 4) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hilo Stake Center at 1373 Kilauea Ave. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery, Mormon Section. Casual attire. Survived by sons, Ryan (Chaynee) Kuamoo, Rich Kuamoo, Rusty Kuamoo and Reagan Kuamoo of Hilo; sister, Michelle (Shawn) Icari of Hilo; two grandsons; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Alan “Urkie” Haruo Urakami

Alan “Urkie” Haruo Urakami, 73, of Umauma died April 22 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service and a U.S. Army Vietnam War and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Friday, June 7, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Yolanda Urakami of Umauma; son, David Urakami of Umauma; daughters, Jodie (Collin Funamura) Urakami and Janna Urakami of Umauma; sister, Debra Ahtoong of Hilo; sisters-in-law, Lynn (Thomas) Lang and Leslie (Fernando) Bran of Kauai; brothers-in-law, Jon Ramboyon and Lawrence (Cindy) Ramboyon of Kauai, Leonard Ramboyon of Hilo; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas C. Dela Cruz, 86, of Hilo died April 29 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Honomu, he was a retired supervisor for the former Ka‘u Sugar Co.
