Michael Beazley Kealohilani Mossman, 78, of Waimea died March 30 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was the retired chief engineer Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa, worked at the former Sheraton Waikoloa Beach Resort, former Kona Surf Resort and the Moana Surfrider Hotel and was Kaimuki High School alum and U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday (June 1) at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 539 Kapahulu Ave. in Honolulu. High Mass 9:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m. Light refreshments and “talk story” to follow in Parish Hall. Aloha Attire. No wreaths; lei and floral arrangements welcome. Services in Waimea at a later date. Survived by wife, Edwina Mossman (Hoke); daughter, Lena Mossman; son, Guy-Michael Mossman; siblings, William (Emmaline) Mossman, Dr. Nanette (Wayne) Judd and Violet Mossman; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild; two hanai grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews. Veronica Cacho Gazmen, 94, of Hilo died May 9 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was retired from Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut factory, worked at the former Hilo Hattie garment factory and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
